As long ago as 1930 Gilbert Lane established what is now a thriving and prosperous family company. The Company is based in a beautiful part of rural England where Gilbert Lane lived. Gilbert was interested in maintaining good health and in the relationship between diet and wellbeing. He was an early supporter of the idea that we can improve our health through diet and the use of carefully selected plants and nutrients.

As a result, his company created a demand for special foods and herbal remedies, both of which were intended to improve people’s quality of life. Today, the Lane family continue to own and run the business and are personally involved with promoting the aims of the company and helping people to maintain a healthier diet and lifestyle.
