Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the art of using essential oils extracted from aromatic plants to enhance health and beauty. Apart from the physical benefits on the body, the essences have subtle effects on the mind and emotions. The oils may be used in massage, baths, and vaporizations. During the past 100 years or so, synthetic chemicals have largely superseded essential oils in both medicine and perfumery. However, the recent revival of aromatherapy has made clear the subtle powers of essential oils produced naturally by the plant.

All our aromatherapy oils are !00% pure and represent some of the most highly regarded oils in aromatherapy. Essential oils are the whole organic substances which give plants their scent. The essences are extracted, usually by distillation, from herbs, and spices, flowers,woods and resins. Being highly concentrated, they are used drop by drop. Because of their sensitivity to light, out oils are supplied in amber bottles.
